Becky Beaver is a Texas native and founder of the firm. With nearly fifty years of experience, she has been a trailblazer and renowned leader in complex divorce and marital property matters, a proficiency not found in many other legal practices.

Ms. Beaver assists high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in navigating and resolving complex family matters. Industry leaders, founders of private equity, hedge, and venture capital firms, politicians, professional athletes, entertainment figures, and business owners trust her with their legal issues. Throughout her career, Ms. Beaver has earned a reputation for excellence. In the 1980s and 1990s, she served on a special committee appointed to rewrite the Texas Family Code. The committee reorganized, rewrote, and enhanced the Code. That work, and the appellate decision in which she was involved, helped lay the foundation for Texas family law jurisprudence to become some of the most sophisticated in the nation.

Ms. Beaver became intrigued with family law while working as a law clerk. She worked with the lawyer who prevailed before the Texas Supreme Court in Holley v. Adams, 544 S.W.2d 367 (Tex. 1976). The factors delineated in this precedent-setting case still guide courts today in determining the conservatorship of a child.

Since early in her practice, Ms. Beaver has been involved in some of Texas's most complex property and conservatorship cases. During her career, she has successfully resolved countless cases involving complex contested issues.

Ms. Beaver is a frequent author, lecturer, and presenter on family law issues. She is also passionate about giving back to the community, and is active in many local, regional, and national non-profit organizations, sharing her time and talent to further their missions.
